The easiest way to make your blog unique is to add an original background image to its layout, which will not only decorate the magazine design, but also emphasize the blog theme. For LiveJournal users, there are hundreds of ready-made design styles that can be supplemented with a beautiful background.
Instructions
Step 1
In some design styles, it is possible to specify a link to an image posted on one of the photo hosting sites in order to use the image as a background. Go to your profile and select the "Journal Style" section in the "Journal" menu. Now go to the "Customize your style" link, and then in the "Style" section look for the Background Image field. If there is such a field in your design style, enter a link to the picture in it and click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
Step 2
If you did not find a field for entering a link to a photo that you plan to use as a background, do not despair, there is another way. In the magazine style settings menu, select the Custom CSS section and enter the following code in the input field:

background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;}
Step 3
Now click "Save Changes" and refresh the home page of your journal.
