Sometimes a photo needs to change the background. For example, unnecessary objects in the background interfere with the portrait. Or you want to make a postcard by superimposing an image of a flower from another photo on a field photo. All this can be done using a graphical editor.

Instructions
Step 1
Adding a background is easy enough using Adobe Photoshop. First you need to open the photo where you want to change the background. This can be done through the File - Open menu or by simply dragging the file onto the editor's working field. First of all, unlock the image layer (double click in the Layers panel) on the layer with your photo.
Step 2
Now we need to remove the old background. This can be done in various ways. The easiest one is the eraser in the toolbar on the left. Erase the extra background with it. To avoid too sharp edges, decrease the hardness setting of the eraser (right-click - Hardness). You can also select the unnecessary background with the Magic Wand Tool, and then press the Delete button. But in both of these cases, too coarse cut edges may remain. Then you should use a mask.
Step 3
There is an icon on the left toolbar: a circle in a rectangle (Edit in Quick Mask Tool). Click on it. Then select a brush with slightly blurred edges. Decrease its flow value a little. Paint over whatever you want to leave in the photo - this area should be reddish. If you notice that you have gone beyond the edges of the background, select a regular eraser and erase the "excess" redness. Click on the circle in the rectangle again. The background you don't need will be selected, just delete it with the Delete button.
Step 4
Add a new layer (Layers - New - Layer). Copy into this layer the image that you want to put in place of the background (right mouse button - Copy - and then Paste). Now this picture "overlaps" the previous one. On the right toolbar, Layers, simply drag the background layer under the original image. Now the photo can be saved in any convenient format, for example JPG, using the Save as command.
