To copy information to portable players of the Apple manufacturer, there is a special iTunes program, without which this action, like any other operations, will not be available. The same applies to other Apple devices.
Necessary

Instructions
Step 1
If your video is in a format supported by the iPod, launch iTunes, which you can download from the official Apple website if necessary. Select your video in the corresponding menu on the left side of the screen after pairing the devices with a USB cable.
Step 2
Drag it into the memory of your portable player and wait for the copying procedure to finish. This option is only possible if you are copying videos of a supported format. The iPod works with the file extensions.m4v, mp4, and mov.
Step 3
If your video is in a format that your iPod portable device does not support, use a dedicated video converter called Free iPod Video Converter. Follow the standard procedures for installing this software on your computer after shutting down the iTunes software and other media players.
Step 4
Start the converter. Read carefully its interface and click on the Add Files button. Select the desired movie in the window that opens (you can also convert directly from a DVD) or several recordings at once, then go to the parameters settings.
Step 5
Set the required configuration for the target file. Specify the video size and picture quality settings. If you leave the default parameters, the program will adjust the settings according to the display size of your iPod portable player. Encoding the recording and then add it to your device using iTunes software. Disconnect the player and test the video recording by launching it.
