A black and white color scheme with a brown tint was typical of old photographs. Then sepia powder was used for this. Today, such a result can be achieved by wearing the appropriate filter on the lens or using the graphics editor Photoshop.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the photo in Photoshop. If the photo is in color, first you need to make it black and white: "Image" (Image) - "Correction" (Ajustiments) - "Desaturate" (Desaturate). This can be achieved in another way.

Third way: go to "Image" (Image) - "Correction" (Ajustments) - "Variations". The Midtones should be selected - make sure of this. Move the Fine / Coarse slider to the left one stop or a little more. Click once on "Red" and "Yellow" to add these colors to the middle tones of the image.

The next option: go to "Image" (Image) - "Correction" (Ajustments) - "Black and White" (Black and White). Check the box next to the word "Tint". Adjust the sliders in the window until you see the desired result and click OK.
Step 6
In the Black and White settings, sepia can also be obtained this way. Go to Layer> New adjustment layer> Black and White. Follow the same steps as in the previous step. If desired, also change the contrast in the adjustment layer by going to "Brightness / Contrast" (Brightness / Contrast).
