Instructions
Step 1
The Windows operating system has a dedicated image processing application. Open the Start menu and go to the All Programs category. Open the contents of the "Standard" directory and start Paint.
Step 2
Select the "File" tab and go to the "Open" item. After a while, the explorer menu will be launched. Change to the directory where the desired image files are located. Select the first file and click the "Open" button.
Step 3
Change the display scale of the picture. To do this, change the position of the slider in the lower right corner of the working window. See image specifications. Pay special attention to the resolution of the picture.
Step 4
Open a second copy of Paint and follow the steps in the previous steps. Now you need to align the height or width of the images. If you will be gluing pictures horizontally, align the height.
Step 5
Select the larger image and click the Resize button. Activate the processing mode "Pixels". Change the resolution value in the Vertical box. If you do not want to distort the image, do not uncheck the "Maintain aspect ratio" checkbox.
Step 6
After selecting the desired resolution, click the Ok button. Now think and determine which image will be located on the right side. Open the editor window with this picture. Click the Select button and select the Select All option. Right click on the image and click "Copy".
Step 7
Go to the second window of Paint. Stretch the work area to the right. Please note that the copied image should fit freely on the resulting white background.
Step 8
Now right-click in the workspace and select "Paste". The image will automatically overlap the first image. Left-click on the image and hold it. Move the picture to the right so that there is no gap between the two frames.
Step 9
After that, narrow the borders of the work area, excluding the remnants of the white background. Press the Ctrl and S keys. Save the resulting file.
