By regularly updating your anti-virus database, you will ensure stable protection of your computer from viruses. Nevertheless, new viruses appear daily and hourly, and not all anti-virus programs have time to add new viruses to their databases immediately after they appear. This increases the risk of infecting your computer with a new virus, and therefore, in addition to installing the usual antivirus, you need to take some measures to protect your computer from those viruses that do not have time to register in the databases.

If you notice that, despite the presence of an anti-virus program, your computer is infected, check the startup section. Open the startup section by running Start> Run> msconfig> startup tab. Check if there are any unknown virus applications in the startup list.

Run the program and perform a full scan of the registry, file and document directories, as well as perform a full scan and analysis of the startup directory. The program quickly finds suspicious files, viruses and rootkits, and neutralizes them.
