Step 1
Turn on the iPod touch by holding the top button on the case. If you turn on the player for the first time, set all the necessary settings that the device will offer you: language and location. The system will then prompt you to activate your iPod touch.
Step 2
The device can be registered immediately over the Internet using a wireless Wi-Fi network, if you have access to it at the moment. This method is very simple, since you do not need to install or connect anything else.

If you do not have these conditions, then you will have to prepare your computer a little to activate the iPod touch. To do this, download and install the iTunes utility. This program is distributed absolutely free, and you can download it on the official Apple website (apple.com, in the iTunes tab). Prepare the cable that comes with any Apple device.
Step 4
Now click on the blue "Connect to iTunes" button. In the pop-up window, click "Continue". A warning will appear on the screen that your PC must have access to the Internet to set up iCloud (a cloud service that syncs your account data). If so, click on the "Continue" button.
Step 5
Launch iTunes and connect your iPod touch with a USB cable to your computer. If you did everything correctly, then in the menu located on the left side you will see that your player is displayed in the "Devices" section. Click on it.
Step 6
On the registration start page, click the "Continue" button. On the next page, read the license agreement and check the box next to consent. Click Next. You will receive confirmation of your iPod touch registration.
Step 7
Now unplug the device and proceed with the activation on the iPod itself. By pressing the button further, select the settings you need: enable / disable geolocation, subscribe to the newsletter, agree to the operating instructions. Your iPod is now ready to use.
