The trial version of the Microsoft Office package has limited functionality, and in order to use all the features of the program, you must go through the activation procedure. Unlocking after purchasing a software product can be done in 2 ways: via the Internet or by phone.
Instructions
Step 1
Enter your product license key in the window that opens when you start any Microsoft Office application. The code is indicated on the package with the software product disc.
Step 2
After entering the correct key, the activation wizard will suggest one of the ways to activate the package. Choose the most convenient option for you and click "Next".
Step 3
When you select the activation method via the Internet, the program will automatically contact the special Microsoft licensing servers. If you have a licensed product and you entered the correct key, unlocking will occur almost immediately, and a corresponding notification will pop up on the screen.
Step 4
If you want to activate the program by phone, click on the second option in the list. Select your region of residence, and then call one of the numbers shown on the screen.
Step 5
Wait for the answer from the support operator. Tell the manager all the information that is displayed and printed on the Microsoft Office packaging.
Step 6
Enter the confirmation code received from the operator in the field located at the bottom of the window, press Enter. The procedure can be considered complete.
Step 7
If you want to activate Office later, select the Delayed Activation menu. Now, to unlock the program, go to the "File" - "Help" tab, click "Activate product key".
Step 8
Follow the directions on the screen. After completing the procedure, close the program and start it again.
Step 9
To find out if the Office program is activated, go to the "File" - "Help" tab. If the "Activate key" item is not available, then the unlocking was successful.
