For stable operation of the operating system, it is recommended to clean the hard disk from unnecessary files at regular intervals. There are special programs for this, but you can perform this process yourself.
Necessary
Advanced SystemCare, CCleaner
Instructions
Step 1
To get started, use the capabilities of the Windows operating system to clear the hard drive of debris. Press the Win and E keys. The My Computer window opens. Right-click on the hard disk partition where the operating system is installed and open its properties.
Step 2
Select the General tab and click the Disk Cleanup button. Wait while the system finds extra (unused) files. Select the file groups you want to delete and click OK.
Step 3
Use CCleaner or RegCleaner to fix and clean the registry. You can perform this operation yourself if you know exactly what and how to delete.
Step 4
Launch CCleaner and click the Scan button. After completing this process, click the "Delete" button.
Step 5
Unfortunately, deleting unused files and cleaning the registry is not enough to get rid of system junk completely. Install the Advanced System Care program. Run this application.
Step 6
Go to the Windows Cleanup menu. Check the boxes next to all four items. To search for unnecessary files, click the "Scan" button. Wait for this process to complete. Click the "Repair" button to fix operating system errors and remove unnecessary files.
Step 7
Go to the System Diagnostics menu. Activate the following items: optimization, security and security analysis. Repeat the algorithm described in the previous step for troubleshooting.
Step 8
Open the Utilities menu and select the Cleaner item. Click the "Next" button after specifying the required hard drives. After analyzing the status of the disk, click Next. Select "Delete permanently" and click the "Delete now" button. Wait for the Disk Cleanup Wizard to complete.
