The family of guitar instruments is very diverse. It is represented by instruments of different scales and ranges (from bass to ukulele). Some instruments can be played without electricity (acoustic, semi-acoustic, semi-electric), while others can only be played when plugged in (electric guitar, most basses). There are just as many ways to connect guitars to your computer.
Necessary
- Cables;
- Instrument microphone with stand;
- Amplifier;
- Effects processor;
- Mixing console;
- Computer.
Instructions
Step 1
To connect acoustic and semi-acoustic guitars, first plug the microphone (preferably professional, instrumental) into the pink socket on the system unit (there should be a microphone icon next to it). Turn on the sound editor and check its status. The volume should change as you speak.
Insert the microphone into the stand and adjust the height of the guitar. The head of the microphone should look into the acoustic hole, but not interfere with hand movements while playing.
Step 2
Electric guitars, bass guitars and semi-electric guitars need to be connected to the processor and amplifier with the preamp connected. Attach the microphone (like an acoustic guitar) included in the sound card to the speaker.
