"Minecraft" is good because here you can be not only a miner, extracting various resources, or even a warrior, protecting yourself and your virtual property from hostile mobs and griefers. If you wish, you will also acquire your own fleet of military equipment, which will work in virtually the same way as in the real world. Moreover, for many types of such machines, special mods and plugins are not needed. For example, for a cannon, which you are free to make at any time in the game.

Instructions
Step 1
The construction of such a weapon is a very large-scale and difficult task to perform. Keep this in mind when you decide to tackle it. Select materials for such a product depending on what kind of gun you want to see in the end. However, in any case, you will need solid blocks (for example, a cobblestone) - for its body, water - to create some kind of cooling mechanism, a button - to start, redstone dust (like wires) - an indispensable element of any circuits, red torches, repeaters (considering the considerable the scale of the structure) and dynamite as a charge.
Step 2
You can easily make torches - from wooden sticks and red (Redstone) dust. Just place the last unit over one stick on the workbench - and the product is ready. Without much effort, you will get a button: put a block of stone or boards (preferably the first one) in the central slot of the machine - and that's it. Collect water from any source using a pre-crafted (from three iron ingots) bucket. Just keep in mind that you need to scoop it up by directing the bucket towards the solid block below it.
Step 3
Making a repeater will require much more effort and materials from you. For it, you need two red torches, redstone dust, and three stone blocks. Place the latter in the lower horizontal row of the workbench, place redstone dust in its center slot, and torches on the sides of it. Keep in mind that to build a cannon, you will need not one such device, but about four (since the redstone signal propagates, as you know, only a half dozen blocks, and your weapon will be larger).
Step 4
First, make a trunk: lay out a rectangle of about three by seven blocks from the cobblestone on a flat piece of land, but so that in its center there is a "ditch" five long and one cube wide. Fill it with water, letting it go from one of the edges (so that its level in the recess turns out to be uneven). Exactly on the side from which you poured it, put two more cobblestones. One will hang over the liquid, and the other will be above the block of the short side of the base adjacent to it - place the button on it in front, and a red torch on the side.
Step 5
Next to this light source - along the long side of the future cannon muzzle - place four repeaters back to back. On the opposite side - run a path of redstone dust (this will be a wire). Where the repeaters are located (right next to the outermost one), place a cobblestone and stick a red torch into it from the side. You can make some superstructures of solid blocks over the muzzle of the gun (in order to give it a certain resemblance to the real one), but they will not have a functional value, but will turn out to be only decorative elements.
Step 6
Load the cannon with dynamite, having previously made it from five units of gunpowder (they are installed on the workbench in a checkerboard pattern, but so that one of them will certainly be in its central slot) and four blocks of sand (fill the remaining cells with them). To do this, place the TNT in the muzzle above the water chute. Shoot the cannon using the button as a trigger.
