One of the rather unpleasant problems faced by many computer owners is the need to recover data after formatting.
Instructions
Step 1
After the usual formatting, the file table is formed anew, where it is indicated that it is empty. However, files after normal formatting are not erased or moved anywhere. Even if new files have been written in their place, they can still be restored by the work of special programs. The same story is with the removal and creation of logical drives of the hard drive. But if low-level formatting was used - then write "lost". All information that has undergone low-level formatting is irretrievably lost. Also, if the hard disk starts to "crumble", the lost clusters will take with them to the grave all the information they contain.
Step 2
Even the constant improvement of information carriers cannot rid us of this problem. Still - the reasons are varied. Accidentally formatted the wrong disk, accidentally pressed a button, caught a virus or a Trojan … But the loss of information can lead to even the most serious consequences. Firstly, you can lose important electronic documents necessary for office work, and secondly, it’s just a pity if your favorite movie or song is accidentally deleted.
Step 3
When you delete a large file, it disappears instantly. However, here the system "tricks", renaming it so that it becomes invisible to the user. In fact, the deleted files may remain on the hard disk for some time until they are replaced by new files. After overwriting, the file cannot be restored.
Step 4
And yet, how can you get to the bottom of the erased files and return them to "life"? The answer is with the help of special programs. However, you should be aware that they do not give a 100% guarantee of success.
