Step 1
Please note that you should never write any information to this USB drive. The more intensively you use the flash drive after formatting, the less chances you have of recovering the files you need. Download and install the Easy Recovery app. For this purpose, use the system partition of the hard disk.
Step 2
Connect a formatted USB drive to the appropriate port on your computer or laptop. Run the Easy Recovery program. In the quick launch menu, select the Data Recovery item. In the window that opens, select the Format Recovery menu. Select the required USB drive in the left window of the program. Be sure to specify the previous type of the file system of this flash drive. Click the Next button.
Step 3
Wait for a while while the utility collects information about the files previously stored on this USB drive. This process can take a long time. Much depends on the performance of your computer and the speed of the flash drive used. Wait for the new menu to appear.
Step 4
Now select with the checkboxes the files you need to recover. If you want to return all available information, then simply select the topmost gurney in the left menu. Click the Next button. Specify the hard disk partition and folder where the deleted files will be restored. Click the Next button again and wait until the recovery process is complete.
Step 5
If you need to recover documents of a certain type, select the File Repair menu in the quick launch bar. Select the type of document from the menu that appears. These can be text documents, spreadsheets and presentations created using the programs included in the Microsoft Office suite. Follow a similar algorithm to find and recover lost data.
