Most PC users consider formatting a hard disk to be an action that permanently erases the data and information contained on the disk. In fact, formatting creates new address tables on the hard drive, and with the help of a special data recovery utility, you can easily recover lost information at any time. Instructions
Step 1
Launch the program and select the Format Recovery option in its main window. The program will automatically display a list of partitions found on all logical drives of your system. If the drive you want is not listed, use the Advanced Recovery option to help recover areas with severe damage.
Step 2
Select the required section from the list and click Next. Please be patient - for a while, depending on the size of the hard disk, the system will scan the data and analyze the file system.
Step 3
After a while, the scan will end and you will see a tree of directories found on the formatted disk.
Step 4
Check all the directories, files and folders you want to restore and then click Next.
Step 5
Before saving the data, specify the saving path - never save the recovered files to the same disk where they were originally located. This can lead to overwriting of files and their permanent destruction.
Step 6
Make sure you have an additional hard drive with enough free space to save all the recovered files and folders. After specifying the path to save, click "Next" and wait until the operation is completed - if there are a lot of files, it may take a long time to save them.
