Step 1
To find out the version of your dashboard, you need to go to the settings of the game console program. Turn on your game console and wait for the software to load. On the start page, find the System Settings item. Then go to "Console Settings" and highlight the inscription "System Information". Examine the contents of the window: in the upper right corner you will find an inscription of the form:

Accordingly, between the zeros and the version of your program will be indicated.
Step 2
To update the version of the dashboard without an Internet connection, download the archive with the update data from the Dashboard website and unpack it to any place on your hard drive. Burn a CD-R disc with information from the archive. To do this, you need a folder called $ SystemUpdate. To create a folder on your personal computer, right-click in an empty area of the desktop. Then a pop-up menu will appear in front of you, in which select the "Create folder" item.
Step 3
Insert the burned disc into the console drive and turn the power on / off. Wait for the update to complete and then remove the disc. Restart your game console to complete the software update procedure. Modern games require the latest versions of the dashboard on the game console. Sometimes, even after updating the dashboard software, the game may not start.
Step 4
This indicates that a drive firmware update needs to be performed. Please note that the console may refuse to read non-licensed discs when updating the drive firmware. If you cannot update the version of the dashboard yourself, contact a specialized center, where they will fully diagnose the device and update the version. However, it is worth noting that you will have to pay a small part of the money for such procedures.
