There are several ways to correct data errors. In particular, to fix most of the problems, it is necessary to carry out a full diagnostics of the operating system to identify and fix them. But in some cases, the elimination of the error is more difficult, and accordingly, you should resort to more serious measures.

Step 1
First, you need to use standard operating system tools to fix errors. This means "checking the disk for errors". It is best to carry out such a check on the disk with the installed operating system (optionally, on all disks). To check, you need to right-click on the disk, then select "properties", then the "service" tab and click "check volume for errors". The check is quite fast, in some cases effective. However, its capabilities cannot be overestimated either, since, as a rule, such a check does not fix all the problems.
Step 2
After checking the disk, it is best to defragment the disk. To make such a check, you need to go to: Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter. The process is long enough, but sometimes very effective for fixing errors. Also, defragmentation is quite useful for the correct operation of the hard disk. It is advisable to carry out such diagnostics regularly (once every six months, if there were no problems, then a year).
Step 3
A fairly common cause of errors is software conflict. It can be caused by the fact that some programs and the operating system have not been updated for a long time. If you have Windows XP installed, then for correct operation it is necessary to update the system to Service Pack 3. It is also advisable to update the software that you use constantly (for example, antivirus, flash player, browser, etc.).
Step 4
If errors are not corrected even if standard technical recommendations are followed, then CCleaner must be installed. After analyzing the system, the application should identify unnecessary files, and not only those that simply take up extra space on the hard drive, but also harmful enough that can cause some errors.
