Photoshop has a unique ability to transform drawings and photographs into unique masterpieces, and you can touch these possibilities by learning how to use the tools of the famous graphics editor. Let's take a look at how to turn an ordinary photo in Adobe Photoshop into an original and effective image that will grab attention and surprise, and play a little with different effects.

Step 1
First, select the photo you want to convert. The figure of a person or an object we need on it should be depicted clearly, brightly and of sufficient quality.
Then create a fairly large file in Photoshop (1920 x 1200 pixels). Using the fill tool, fill the created area with black, or another dark shade close to black.
Step 2
After that select the Brush tool and set the appropriate values for it: large diameter (300-400), opacity 20-30% and high degree of softness.
Choose any pleasant shade from the color palette that you like, for example, lilac.
Step 3
Create a new layer and make some light spots on it with a semi-transparent brush. Then create another layer and create additional color spots on it. Set the layer blending options to Color Dodge. The colors will blend beautifully.
Step 4
Now it's time to insert the selected photo onto the created background. First, cut out the figure of a person or object in the photo, you need it without a background. Use the Pen Tool, the Lasso Tool, or a quick mask to select the shape. After the shape is completely selected, copy the selection to a new layer, and then transfer it to the prepared background.
Step 5
Go back to the background again. Take a small brush, pick a light color and start randomly placing small dots on the background around the shape, imitating a scattering of stars. Alternate smaller points with larger ones - this will create the illusion of volume. Change colors periodically from soft light shades to pure white.
Step 6
Add a light effect to the shape, for this again take a very soft brush with a larger diameter (200px), and paint with white color, make a light glow effect around the shape in the photo.
Step 7
The photo already looks good, but you can add an interesting effect in the form of circles of various textures to it. Select the Ellipse Tool from the toolbar and draw a circle with the Opacity 100% Fill 0% on the background near the shape.
Go to the layer properties in the Gradient Overlay tab. Set the opacity to 20%, the Linear style, the angle -169, and the blending parameter to Color Dodge. If done correctly, the circle will fade halfway into the background.
Step 8
Duplicate the circle layer as many times as you like and place the duplicated circles over the background so that they create a nice composition.
In the layers window, select Curves (curves) and edit them so that the image becomes more contrast (ready-made parameter Darker RGB).
Step 9
Add a bubble effect to your photo if you like. To do this, use the ellipse tool again and draw a circle with no fill (Fill 0%, Opacity 70%). In the layer settings add an Inner Shadow to the painted circle with a Hard Light setting and an opacity of 42%, and then add an Inner Glow, Emboss and a Satin surface. Open Free Transform from the Edit menu and reshape the bubble and increase the number of bubbles in the photo as you see fit.
Step 10
Experiment yourself with different kinds of effects, of which there are a great many in Photoshop. You may be able to create your own unique, attention-grabbing effect in the photo.
