Step 1

Initially, special programs are provided for working with ISO images. If you need to extract files from the image, then install the Daemon Tools Lite program. It is distributed free of charge. To download the program, go to the official website of its developers

Install the application and restart your computer. This is necessary for the full implementation of the program into the operating system. After starting the OS, find the Daemon Tools icon in the system tray and double-click on it with the left mouse button. Click on the Plus button and specify the location for storing the ISO file. After that, its name will appear at the top of the working window.

Step 3

Click on it with the right mouse button and hover over the "Mount" line. Select the virtual drive by clicking on its name with the left mouse button. Open any file manager, for example the standard Windows Explorer. Navigate to the list of files on the virtual disk. Copy their contents to the desired folder.

If you do not want to use the program for working with images, then install the 7z utility. This is a powerful enough archiver that allows you to work with many formats. Right-click on the ISO file and select "Open With". In the menu that appears, select the 7z File Manager program.

Step 5

Copy the required data from the window that opens. For quick work with ISO files, you can use various managers, for example Total Commander. Install this program and use it to extract the files from the image. Please be aware that these utilities are not suitable for creating virtual DVD drives.
