Splitting of work for multiple users is easily implemented in the Windows operating system. Thus, different people can work on the same personal computer in turn, have their own desktop, installed programs and personal space for documents.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - administrator rights.
Instructions
Step 1
Click on the "Start" button located at the bottom of the desktop and select "Control Panel" from the menu. The Control Panel contains all the information and settings for your computer, including the section on configuring user policies. You can also click on the "My Computer" shortcut and select the "Control Panel" tab.
Step 2
Go to the section "User accounts and system security" by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Click on the inscription "User Accounts", and the operating system will display all users of this computer. It is also worth noting that there are situations when this label is not present. To make it appear in the upper left corner, click on the "Switch to classic view" button.
Step 3
Operations are available for each user: changing the name, changing the picture, changing the account type, changing the account control settings, setting or deleting the password. You can perform all these operations on users if you have administrator rights for this computer. Be sure to create a password to prevent third parties from breaking into the system.
Step 4
You can also see the list of registered users by going to the "Users" folder located on drive C. Personal folders of users are located in this place, however, to enter the folders of users, you need to have administrator rights.
Step 5
This separation of users and personal space helps several people work on the same computer and not interfere with each other. Mandatory presence of administrator rights restricts unauthorized changes to user settings and protects his personal data. You can add new accounts or edit old ones at any time.
