There is a universal way to increase the volume of sound in speakers - using active speakers. In this case, the sound level can be changed using a control on the speaker itself, which controls the power amplifier built into the sound reproduction system. If this method is not available or its capabilities are already at the limit, then you can try to adjust the volume using software.
Instructions
Step 1
The standard Windows way to change the sound volume in your computer's speakers is to use the slider in the system application "Volume Control". To use it, find in the notification area of the taskbar - "in the tray" - the icon with the image of the speaker and click on it with the left mouse button. A small window with a vertical slider will appear on the screen - move it up to increase the sound level in the speakers.
Step 2
Windows has the ability to increase the level of sounds played by different programs, separately. To do this, open the "Volume Mixer" - click the "Mixer" link at the bottom of the "Volume Control" application window opened in the previous step. The mixer control panel is divided into vertical blocks, each of which has a separate slider for changing the volume level. The knob in the left section is responsible for the general level, the next one controls the volume of the system sounds, and all the others refer to programs currently running and using computer speakers. You can either increase the volume of the sounds of the desired program, or disable unnecessary ones by clicking on the speaker icon placed under each of the sliders.
Step 3
You can also increase the volume by means of the application itself, the sounds of which you want to listen to through the speakers - most computer programs designed to work with audio devices have such controls. For example, in the standard Windows media player, the speaker icon appears when the mouse pointer hovers over the application window. Click on the triangle to the right of this icon and the player will display the familiar volume slider. Increasing the playback level corresponds to moving the pointer to the right.
