One way or another, many players prefer to keep their achievements as a souvenir, for example, by taking screenshots.

Step 1
A screenshot (a screenshot of the desktop or screen) can be taken in several ways, but not all of the methods will be 100% effective. For any video game, you can take a screenshot in 3 ways:
- using the Print Screen key on the keyboard;
- using special programs;
- through the video game engine.
Step 2
Initially, you need to start the game. To take a screenshot in the first way, just press the Print Screen key on your keyboard, the screen image will be in the clipboard. To save it, you will need any program that works with pixel graphics (MS Paint, Paint.net, Adobe Photoshop, etc.). After launching the program, you need to press create a new graphic document (press the Ctrl + N key combination) and paste the contents of the clipboard (press the Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert key combination).
Step 3
As a special program for creating screenshots, you can use the most famous of them - Fraps. This utility is easy to set up, you can use it to save both photos and videos from your favorite games. Run the program, in the main window specify the hotkey, by pressing which the screenshot will be taken, as well as the path to the folder with screenshots.
Step 4
If you can take a screenshot from any game using Fraps, the Print Screen key does not always cope with the task. If you want to know for sure that you will get screenshots and do not want to install special programs, we advise you to configure the option to create screenshots directly in the game itself. In Counter Strike, a screenshot is taken by pressing the F5 button. If you do not have them in the program folder, go to the gameplay settings and assign a different hotkey for this action.
Step 5
To track the process of creating a screenshot file, launch the console and press the save screenshot key.
