Next, we will consider the process of connecting to a remote computer using the example of the Windows 7 operating system. In order to be able to connect to remote access, you first need to configure the possibility of such a connection directly on the computer to which you are going to connect from your PC. But first you need to find out the name of your PC. Right-click on the My Computer icon and then select Properties. The window that appears will display the name of the computer. Write it down.

The following actions are already taking place on the computer to which the remote connection will be established. Right-click on the My Computer icon and select Properties. Next, write down the computer name and go to the "Advanced system settings" tab. Select "Remote Access". In the "Remote Desktop" section, check the bottommost item, then go to the "Select Users" tab. Then select "Location" and specify where to look (for example, home network).

Next, in the "Object names" line, enter the name of your computer and click OK. In the next two windows, also click OK. You should now be able to connect to this computer using your PC. For convenience, if you have an internet connection, you can also find out the IP address. To do this, in the search engine, simply enter "find out the IP address".

Now directly about connecting to a remote computer from your PC. Click on "Start" and select "All Programs". From the list of programs select "Accessories", then - "Remote Desktop Connection". A window will appear. In the “Computer” line, enter the name of the PC to which you will connect remotely and click “Connect”. Within a few seconds, you will be connected.
