The task of starting the replication process can be performed using several standard methods of the Microsoft Windows operating system. The only condition is that the user has administrative rights and / or membership in the Domain Admins group.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the operating system Press the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel" item to immediately start the replication process.
Step 2
Open the "Administration" node by double-clicking the mouse to start the WINS service and repeat the same procedure with the "WINS service" item.
Step 3
Specify the required WINS server and select "Replication Partners".
Step 4
Use the "Start replication" command in the "Action" menu of the upper toolbar of the program window and confirm the immediate start of the process by clicking the "Yes" button in the request window that opens.
Step 5
Go back to the main Start menu and go to All Programs to start replication using bt, -nodes, and the Snap-in Manager service.
Step 6
Expand the "Administration" node by double-clicking the mouse and click the "Active Directory - Sites and Services" button.
Step 7
Expand the "Sites" link in the left pane of the application window and open the group of the required Internet site to be synchronized with the selected replication partners.
Step 8
Go to Servers and expand the Destination Server link to define the NTDS Settings item.
Step 9
Click the NTDS Settings object button and open the context menu of the required connection object in the right part of the application window.
Step 10
Specify the Replicate Now command and click OK to confirm the application of the selected changes.
Step 11
Return to the Administration menu and expand the DFS Distributed File System node to start replication using an alternate method.
Step 12
Specify the root name of the server or the link to be replicated and select the "Configure Replication" command from the "Action" menu of the top toolbar of the program window.
Step 13
Follow the recommendations of the Replication Configuration Wizard utility.
