The popular Opera browser allows the user to fine-tune the program interface and its important functions. In Opera, you can install multiple search engines and choose any of them to search for.
Instructions
Step 1
Setting up the search, like other browser options, is performed from the "Settings" dialog box, which can be opened by pressing the Ctrl + F12 key combination, or by selecting "Menu" - "Settings" - "General settings".
Step 2
In the main settings window, open the "Search" tab. You will see a list of search engines installed in your browser. You can add any search engine to the list. To do this, click the "Add" button, and then enter the web address of the search engine in the "Address" field.
Step 3
In the "Name" field, you can enter the name of the search engine, and by checking the box "Use as default search service", you will set this search engine as the search engine to which your queries will refer. To save changes, enter one Latin letter in the "Key" field. By placing this letter in front of the request, the search will be performed using this search engine.
Step 4
If desired, the list can not only be expanded, but also reduced by removing unused search services. To remove a search engine, click on its name in the list, and then click the "Remove" button.
