A wallpaper is a background picture that is constantly displayed on your desktop. Even the most pleasant pictures can get bored over time, and then it's time to change the wallpaper.

Step 1
Call the context menu by clicking the left mouse button on the desktop. Select "Properties" in it. A window "Properties: Screen" will appear in front of you.
Step 2
Select the "Desktop" tab. In the figure you will see a conventional image of the monitor and your desktop picture on it.
Step 3
Click the Browse button to start searching for the picture you want to install on your desktop. Enter the directory containing the required file and select it. Click the "Open" button.
Step 4
Now you will see a new picture on the conventional image of the monitor. You can adjust the position of this picture using the "Position" item, which includes the options "Tile", "Stretch" and "Center". Experiment with these options, choose the one that works for you.
Step 5
Now that the new picture is selected, click the "Apply" button and then the "OK" button. A new image will appear on your desktop.
