Necessary

  • - Nero Burning Rom;
  • - Iso File Burning.

Instructions

Step 1

First, determine the purpose of creating a bootable disk. If you need to record only the operating system, then find and download its image. Pay attention to the fact that this image must be created from the boot disk.

Step 2

Download Nero Burning Rom. Please note that not all versions of this program are compatible with the Windows Seven operating system. Install the downloaded application. Sometimes, for its stable operation, it is necessary to update the Visual C ++ databases. Do not skip this step in the installation menu of the program.

Step 3

Run the Nero.exe file or its shortcut, if one was automatically created. In the window that appears with the name "New Project" select the option DVD-Rom (Boot). The Download tab will open.

Step 4

Specify the location of the previously downloaded image of the installation disk in the "Image file" item. After defining the image, click the "New" button. If you need to add files to this disk, then find them in the right window of the program menu and drag them to the left window.

Step 5

After completing the file selection, click the "Write" button. A window titled "Burn Project" will open. Select the "Recording" tab. Activate the "Finalize Disc" function. Specify the desired write speed for this disc.

Step 6

Click the Burn button. Wait for the boot disk to finish burning. Reboot your computer and check the functionality of this disk.

Step 7

If you need to quickly burn a bootable disc without adding additional files and without using powerful programs, then download the Iso File Burning utility. Run this program.

Step 8

Specify the path to the image file. Select the writing speed of this disc. Click the Burn ISO button. Wait for the running process to complete. Check the drive by restarting your computer. Please note that this program can only burn ISO images. You will not be able to add other files to the recordable disc.
