The word "ball" (from the English. Share) is associated with file-sharing networks - a widespread content exchange system within a limited group of users, for example, subscribers of one of the Internet providers. The advantage of such networks is fast download speed and no additional charges for intra-local traffic.

Step 1
First of all, register in the file-sharing network. On the Hub (the server of this network), the user gets access to the "ball" - a collection of files posted by other users. More precisely, these files are not spread anywhere, but only open access to one or several folders on the hard drive of your own computer. To be able to view and download other people's files, you need to "share" the files on your hard drive. As a rule, the minimum amount of information is determined (for example, 5 GB), which must be made open by each user of the Hub. By becoming a member of one of the file-sharing networks, you can exchange various information with other participants, including music, video, text files, etc.
Step 2
Download and install the DC ++ client offered on the site of this file-sharing network. It is a program that provides network access to open files. Start the client. In the "File" - "Settings" - "General" tab, enter your nickname and email address. In the "Settings" - "My files (Shara)" tab, open access to files that other users will see. To do this, check the boxes next to the required folders and confirm your actions. Wait while DC ++ indexes and hashes your files.
Step 3
Now you can download files that other users have uploaded. Use the DC ++ client search. If the file you are looking for is present on the ball, double-click on it, the download will start. Files will be downloaded by default to the DCDownloads folder on the C drive. You can change this directory by going to the "File" - "Settings" - "Download" - "Download to" / "Folders" tab.
