Today, a large number of films on the Internet are in DVDrip format. Basically, it's just a compressed DVD format. You can play these files using a regular player. True, in some cases there may be problems when the video simply does not play, or there is no sound during playback. Next, we will consider situations where DVDrip quality video does not play.
Necessary
- - a computer with Windows OS;
- - Windows Media Player;
- - a package of codecs K-Lite Codec Pack;
- - KMPlayer player (GOM Player).
Instructions
Step 1
As noted, you need a player for playback. Any operating system in the Windows family has Windows Media Player. With its help, you can play the video. To do this, codecs must be installed on your computer. Without them, the video simply won't play, or only audio will be heard during playback.
Step 2
Search the Internet for the K-Lite Codec Pack. You can download them absolutely free. The only thing you need to consider is that you need to look for codecs specifically for your operating system. You also need to take into account the bitness of Windows. If you have a 32-bit system, you need to download it for it, and accordingly, if you have a 64-bit system, then you need to look for codecs for 64-bit systems. Install them on your computer and then restart it. When the computer restarts, you can safely start the video.
Step 3
Although Windows Player does play rip format, there can be some problems at times. For example, rewinding may not work, or the video file will take a long time to load. Adjustment of brightness, contrast and other video parameters can also be blocked. Therefore, it is better to use the players that are most suitable for playing the rip format.
Step 4
KMPlayer is a very user-friendly player with support for the Russian interface, user-friendly menu and wide customization options. Also a good solution would be to use the GOM Player. This is a simple player, but it does a great job with the main task, namely video playback.
Step 5
To assign the player you need to play the DVDrip-format, right-click on any DVDrip file, go to Properties, select Change, and then the player that will be set for DVDrip as the main one.
