The IL-2 Sturmovik game is one of the most popular flight simulators. To learn how to play it, a beginner needs time for training, since the gameplay is as close as possible to controlling a real plane.
Instructions
Step 1
To make your first flight, start the game and select the "Quick Editor" item from the menu. In the upper right part of the screen, select the plane you like. The La-7, La-5FN, BF-109G2 are easier to control. Next, click on the button to the right of the aircraft list. In the advanced settings that have appeared, set the fuel reserve to 25% - this will reduce the weight of the aircraft, therefore it will be more controllable.
Step 2
Choose one of the cards. If you do not select it, there will be sea overhead during the flight, which will degrade the visual representation. Then click "Departure". Add power immediately, try to maintain a speed of at least 250 km / h.
Step 3
To learn how to land, start the game and select the simple editor. After loading the map, fly towards the nearest airfield. Reset your speed before landing. Keep it at about 240 km / h. Begin to land before the start of the runway (runway), but instead of landing, pull back the steering wheel and release the throttle. As a result, the aircraft will reduce speed and altitude and land at the very beginning of the runway. Then turn off the motors and apply the brake. Hold the brake to try to quickly stop the plane.
Step 4
To take off, follow these steps. Move the throttle stick to a minimum. Press Select Engine 1, Select Engine 2, Select All Engines, then flip the flaps to takeoff position. Press a little on the gas and gradually increase it. After acceleration, the plane will take off on its own. Retract the flaps and landing gear.
Step 5
To start practicing shooting, in the simple editor select a large aircraft as the enemy and disable its weapons ("No weapons" in the "Combat load") so that it cannot attack you. After the flight, try to shoot your opponent from different distances, angles, etc. After training for a while, you will gain sufficient experience.
