Step 1
The first step is to call the context menu. To do this, move the mouse cursor over the selected folder and right-click. In the context menu that appears, look for the "Properties" item. It is usually located at the very bottom of the list.
Step 2
We activate this fragment of the called menu. We are presented with a window that displays all the data about this folder: when it was created, how much information it contains, how many files, and so on. We don't need it yet. At the top of the window there is a "header with tabs": general, access, previous versions, settings, security. Select the "Settings" tab. We go down with our gaze to approximately the middle of the window. There is a sub-item that is responsible for the appearance of the folder. Next to the folder image itself in this menu there is a "change icon" button.
Step 3
Press this key. Another window opens, in which various variations of the images are provided. You can choose any you like. Click on the picture you like by selecting it. We press the "OK" button. The folder view has been changed.
Step 4
So, put the whole path together: move the cursor over the folder, call the context menu, the "properties" item, the "settings" tab, the "change icon" button, select the picture you like, click "OK". The folder view has been changed.
