The operating system is a very complex thing, and the errors that can occur in it are many and varied. It is usually not very difficult to troubleshoot an error when the cause is known. It is difficult to find the very reason.

Instructions

Step 1

Log in to the system with administrator rights. Select Start => Run. Type "msconfig". This will open the System Settings window. On the "General" tab, select "Selective startup" and uncheck the options: "Process System.ini file", "Process Win.ini file", "Load startup items". Do nothing with Boot.ini. Do not disable "Load system services". Click Apply and OK. Reboot your computer. Check for an error.

Step 2

If the error disappears, run System Setup again. Sequentially enable the disabled options and after each enable one option, restart the computer and see if the error reappears. If it does, then, obviously, it is called by the last enabled option. If the error persists, then the reason is not in these options, and point 3 can be skipped.

Step 3

There is a corresponding tab for each of the options. Open it. There you will see many checkboxes. Disable half of them and reboot again. Having determined which group of items is causing the error, divide it in half, turn off half of it, reboot - and so on until the exact cause of the problem is identified.

Step 4

If the error is not in the above options, open the "Services" tab, check the "Do not display Microsoft services" checkbox. Click Disable All> Apply> OK. Reboot. If the error disappears, then look for the service causing the error by including them one after the other.

Step 5

If you can find the reason, find out from a specialist what kind of service, file, program is in startup, what it is responsible for and whether it is possible to do without it, i.e. and leave it off. If it is impossible without it, then in each case the actions are different, but, as a rule, this is the replacement of a damaged file or a group of files.

Step 6

If you still cannot find the cause, then it is better not to try to search for it yourself, completely disabling Microsoft services - there may be unpleasant consequences. In this case, it is better to contact a good specialist or decide to reinstall the system.

Step 7

If errors do not appear immediately, but after a while (10-30 minutes), most likely the reason is not in the software, but in the "hardware" - some device overheats, or under the influence of thermal deformations somewhere the contact leaves. In this case, you need to start by checking the hardware.
