Necessary

  • - video file;
  • - Video Convert Premier or FormatFactory program;
  • - computer.

Instructions

Step 1

Before starting to work with a video file, carefully study the instruction manual of the player and find out what formats it reads.

Step 2

Working with Video Convert Premier. Before you start converting files, install the Video Convert Premier program on your computer (it will not be difficult to find it on the Internet). Launch the application and on the top panel indicate which format you need to translate the video file into. This program offers several options: in avi, mp-4, 3gp, mpeg, mov, wmv, swf and others. Select the format that suits your player.

Step 3

Then add the video file that needs processing to the program, for which, in front of the upper field of the working window, click the "Browse" button. Open the folder with the file and double-click the left mouse button to add it to the project. In the second line, specify the location to save the transcoded video. To do this, click the Browse button on the right. Now you can start transcoding the file. Click the Convert button and wait for the process to finish.

Step 4

Working with the FormatFactory program. Run the application. This can be done by clicking on the shortcut on the desktop (by default it is installed automatically), or find it by clicking on the "Start" button on the desktop and opening the "Programs" section.

Step 5

In the window that opens, on the left side, select the "Video" section. Indicate the format in which you need to translate your file. In the new window, find and click the "File" button, point to the location of the video file for transcoding, and add it to the project. At the bottom, click the "Select" button and indicate where you want to save the finished file. Then click "OK" and go to the main page of the program.

Step 6

Launch the "Start" button located on the top panel and wait until the file is converted.
