Sometimes, when viewing a video file, it becomes necessary to flip the image for convenience. This can be done using special functions built into the video player and operating system.
Instructions
Step 1
Try flipping the video file while watching it online by hovering over the menu bar located in the lower right corner of the window and selecting the arrow button. Indicate in which direction the window should be flipped - clockwise or counterclockwise.
Step 2
Expand the window with the video being played using the player's accessibility features. Go to the main menu of the program and click on the section called "Playback" or "View". This is where the function you want is usually located. Its availability and operation may vary depending on the video player used. It is usually provided in the Media Player Classic series, which are installed separately or with a special set of K-lite Codec Packs.
Step 3
Select the direction you want to rotate the video. Please note that the computer may freeze for a short time while watching high definition video. This is affected by the parameters and power of your video card, which may not be enough to quickly perform the corresponding action. Also, the speed of performing operations with video files depends on the power of the processor and the amount of RAM. Make sure you have the latest video codecs and drivers installed on your devices.
Step 4
Usually, the spread of the video in the player is temporary in nature: the operation will have to be repeated on subsequent launches of the file. Use special video editing software such as Samsung PC Studio, Windows Movie Maker, or others to make the position of the video you want constant while preserving the effect. Open the file with the video format from the main menu of the application, then change the direction of the video to your liking. Save the file and then close the program.
