Instructions

Step 1

Call the context menu of the "Computer" desktop element by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Control" item to configure the "Task Scheduler" trigger.

Step 2

Expand the Task Scheduler node in the left pane of the computer management window that opens and use the Create task option in the Actions pane.

Step 3

Enter the desired name for the new task and select the required security settings on the General tab of the new dialog box of the New Task Wizard.

Go to the Triggers tab and click the New button.

Select the "By event" option in the drop-down list of the "Start task" line of the new dialog box of the New Trigger Wizard and apply the checkbox on the required field of the "Parameters" section: - "Simple" - to select an event code, its source and log; - "Custom" - for more flexible settings.

Click the "Create Event Filter" button that appears and apply the checkboxes on the desired fields in the following dialog box: - "By log" - to define the required logs; - "By source" - to define the sources of observation.

Enter the desired event codes in the "Event codes" section and confirm your choice by pressing the OK button.

Go to the "Additional parameters" section in the New Trigger Wizard window and apply the checkboxes on the required fields of the task execution start settings.

Confirm the application of the selected changes by clicking OK and go to the "Actions" tab of the wizard window.

Specify the desired action, or actions selected to be performed when activating the created trigger and confirm your choice by clicking OK.

Use the option to define additional conditions for launching a task on the "Conditions" tab or select the desired options for deleting, stopping and starting a task on the "Options" tab (not recommended for inexperienced users).
