To create a spreadsheet, use a special software product - spreadsheets. These are interactive programs displayed on the monitor screen in a separate window. Visually, they represent a grid of rows and columns in which statistical information is located. The most popular program that allows you to group information and present it in tabular form is Excel spreadsheets, which is one of the modules of Micrisoft Office.
Step 2
Before you start to design and fill in the table, think over how many rows and columns it will contain. This is necessary in order to present your information as fully and clearly as possible. It should be noted that one of the columns can be the ordinal number of the record. In addition to the data that you represent directly, some rows may contain indirect values that are a function of multiple cells in a row. For example, if you indicate the quantity of goods sold in one cell, and in the other - the cost of a unit of goods of this name, then in the third cell it is logical to indicate the total cost of the goods, which is functionally the product of the first two. Consider all of these factors when designing your table and determining the number of rows and columns you need.
Step 3
To make the table readable, adjust the width and height of the table cells in accordance with the expected amount of its content. So, a cell with a serial number, for example, will not have a large width, but the "Note" cell can be filled with a lot of text. These features of your spreadsheet also need to be taken into account when compiling it. You can set the size of the cells in absolute, rigidly fixed values, you can - in a relative, percentage ratio. Another way that can be implemented when working in spreadsheets is to set the automatic selection of the size of the cells of each column depending on the volume of the test contained in it, in this case, the cell size is automatically adapted to the size of the content.
