Step 1
One of the options is to find a description of the monitor, TV or laptop model on the Internet. To do this, go to the website of the manufacturer of your device and find your model in the list of manufactured products. Its technical characteristics will necessarily indicate the size of the display, which is usually measured in inches (for example, 14 ", 15, 4", 17 ", 21", etc.). If you cannot find the manufacturer's website, go to the website of any major online store of household and computer equipment and look at the information about the device in the model description.
Step 2
Another way is to measure the screen yourself with a tape measure. Its size is usually measured diagonally. Place the tape measure on the working area of the screen and measure the distance from the lower right corner to the upper left corner, or vice versa. If there is no inch scale on the tape, divide the resulting figure by 2.54 (1 inch = 2.54 cm) and you will get the screen size in conventional measurement. For example, measurements showed that the diagonal of the screen is 39, 11 cm. When you divide this figure by 2, 54, you will find out that the screen size is 15, 4”.
