To make it more convenient and interesting for you, your friends, relatives and acquaintances to view the photos taken by you on your travels, on a special occasion or just like that, the pictures must be sorted.
Instructions
Step 1
Collect all your photos into one big folder. Pay attention to those pictures that have not yet been copied to your computer or laptop, but are located on the camera's memory card. Remember, maybe some photos were sent by your friends, acquaintances or relatives by e-mail and are still only there. Do not separate the files that are combined into a separate folder. When you look at all the pictures, it will be easier for you to determine which sections you need to create in order to sort the pictures.
Step 2
Create a separate folder on your computer for each partition. For example, "Travel", "Landscapes", "Our baby". The section titles depend on the subject of your pictures. Within each section there will be several folders where you should move the photos. So in the "Travel" section there will be folders with the names of the cities and countries you have visited, the "Landscapes" folder will consist of artistic photographs taken by you in the city or in nature. In the section "Our baby" you will store your child's photos.
Step 3
Move photos to created folders. Open the image, click the "Save" button and select the desired folder. This way you can, for example, place a picture of your child taken while on vacation at sea in both the Travel section and the Our Baby folder. If there is only one theme for a photo, just move it to the appropriate folder.
Step 4
Divide those folders that are too large into two or more. For example, if you went with your family for a weekend in the forest for the purpose of active recreation, the photographs taken during this period can be divided into folders "Rabalka", "Barbecue", "Walk".
Step 5
Add captions to photos. Indicate where, with whom and what you are doing at the moment of the photo.
