There are many programs freely available on the Internet that allow you to change the format of video files. Some of them are used to connect different fragments into a single whole.
Necessary
- - Virtual Dub;
- - Total Video Converter;
- - Adobe Premier.
Instructions
Step 1
To merge several VOB files into a single whole, you need to use a suite of programs. The final choice of the application is up to you, but it is recommended to use the Total Vide Converter and Virtual Dub utilities, or use only Adobe Premier. These are powerful enough programs that you might find useful for other tasks. Download and install the above utilities.
Step 2
Launch Total Video Converter. Open the Files menu and click the Add button. Add any required VOB files. Now click the Converting button and select the final file format. Better to use avi. It plays on most DVD players and similar devices.
Step 3
Now select the Convert All Selected option and wait for the file type to change. Close the TVC utility. Launch Virtual Dub and click the Add button located in the Files menu and select the recently converted files. Arrange them in the desired order. Select Save As, enter a name for the new file and specify a location to save it. Wait for the creation of the shared video file to complete. Relatively new versions of the Virtual Dub utility allow you to perform the described operations directly with VOB files.
Step 4
If you need to fine-tune the video quality, then launch the Adobe Premier program. It is a very powerful graphics editor with a huge number of different effects. Add the desired VOBs to the render strip. Trim unnecessary elements of video files.
Step 5
Add additional effects or adjust the quality of the audio track. Press Ctrl and S to open the save menu. Enter a name for the target shared file. Indicate its type. In this case, vob is mpeg2 for DVD-players. Wait for the conversion to complete and save the video file. Run it and check the quality of the connection.
