You can put one picture into another in different ways - on a personal computer, several programs are available to the user, with the use of which a non-professional in computer graphics can do this. The most common applications of this kind are the Microsoft Word text processor and the default Windows graphics editor Paint.

Necessary

Graphics editor Paint or word processor Microsoft Office Word

Instructions

Step 1

You can start MS Paint through the main Windows menu - the corresponding link is placed in the "Standard" subsection of the "All Programs" section. But you can do it differently - press Win, type pai and press the Enter key.

Step 2

First, load into the graphic editor the one of the pictures that will be in the background - the background image. This can be done by simply dragging the file from the desktop, or by opening it in the "Explorer" folder in the MS Paint window, or you can use the standard dialog that opens with the Ctrl + O key combination.

Step 3

Then place the second one on top of this picture. To do this, open the "Insert" drop-down list on the "Home" tab in the application menu and select "Insert from". In the dialog that opens, find the file of the second image and click the "Open" button.

Step 4

Paint will place the foreground image in the upper left corner of the background - move it with the mouse to the desired position. If necessary, change the dimensions by moving the anchor points in the corners of the inserted picture with the mouse.

Step 5

Save the combined image - click on the blue untitled button in the upper left corner of Paint, open the menu, go to the "Save As" section and select one of the graphic formats. Then give the new file a name, choose a storage location and click Save.

Step 6

To place one image within another in the word processor Microsoft Word, position the insertion cursor to the desired position and go to the "Insert" tab in the menu. In the "Illustrations" group of commands, click the "Image" button, in the dialog box, find the image file for the background and click the "Insert" button.

Step 7

Make the inserted image a background - right-click on it and in the "Text Wrap" section of the context menu, select "Behind Text". By default, Word will place the image at the left margin of the sheet - move it to the desired location with the mouse. If this does not work, right-click the picture, select "Size and position", on the "Position" tab, uncheck the "Move with text" field and try again.

Step 8

Using the same "Picture" button on the "Insert" tab, place the second picture in the document. You don't need to make it the background, just move it to the desired place above the background image. Then resize both images and save the document.
