Step 1
If you notice that files disappear from the computer, the computer began to work with a noticeable delay, when you connect to the Internet, sites open much slower, you start programs you do not understand, or, conversely, those that you are used to using do not start, and many other manifestations say that you have viruses on your computer. There are two options for removing them correctly.
The first option is the most accessible and feasible if you have an anti-virus program on your computer. Open the interface of your antivirus and put the C drive for scanning to get the virus from the drive. But if your antivirus cannot cope due to the imperfection of the program, another option will do.
Step 2
The second option is more difficult to implement, but more reliable. To do this, download and save on your hard drive, preferably not on the C drive, the anti-virus utility (program) Cureit. There are other utilities from other manufacturers, but for an unprepared user it is the most convenient and easy to use. Run the saved file by hovering the cursor and clicking on it 2 times with the mouse button. The program window will open, where you can manage and monitor the process of checking your computer for virus programs. You can remove the virus from the disk by first selecting the "disinfect the infected file" option. And only if it is impossible to cure, choose "delete". If the utility has found a lot of viruses, you need to check the computer disks again.
Step 3
After completing the check, do the following. Open the Windows folder, then the System32 folder, the Drivers folder and Etc. in it. Select the Hosts file in this folder without the extension and open it in notepad. Delete all entries in the file, leaving only "127.0.0.1 Localhosts" and save the changes. All changes in the Windows folder must be done very carefully so as not to damage the operating system.
