Computer operation without computer peripherals is impossible. Since a computer is a system unit, a monitor, a mouse, a keyboard, a webcam, a printer, and the like, these are peripherals. Stumps also include a microphone and headphones (headset). Their correct setting depends on whether you can communicate with other Internet users via a computer or not.

After connecting the microphone, you need to configure it. To do this, click the "Start" button, which is located in the lower left corner of the monitor image. In the drop-down menu, select "Settings", then go to "Control Panel", and there - in the line "Sounds and Audio Devices".
Step 3
If you did everything correctly, the "Properties: Sounds and Audio Devices" window will appear on the screen, which has five tabs: "Volume", "Sounds", "Audio", "Speech", "Equipment". Enter the “Speech” tab.
Step 4
Using the Speech Playback and Speech Recording options, adjust the volume for recording and playing speech through the microphone. In this window, you can configure additional parameters. Turn on the microphone and adjust the volume. If this unit is close to the speakers, the microphone will hum.
Step 5
Next, install and configure your headphones. As a rule, headphones have a USB connector that can be inserted into the same connector in the system unit. But before connecting the headphones for the first time, install the appropriate drivers for them on your computer. After installing the drivers, the headphones are ready to use.
