You can take screenshots of your HTC smartphone without installing additional applications through the system functions. You may need to take a screenshot if you want to show some kind of notification on the screen or share information about an application or a song that is currently playing on your device.
Instructions
Step 1
To take a screenshot on HTC, use the special keyboard shortcut on your device. To do this, press the power button located at the top of your device. Simultaneously with the power button, hold down the central button of the device.
Step 2
If the operation was performed correctly, the desired picture will appear in the "Gallery" application of the smartphone. Click on the corresponding shortcut in the main menu and go to the "Photos" album of the device. This folder will contain all screenshots you create. You can copy the image data to a computer or share it using a client program for your messaging service or social network.
Step 3
If your mobile phone does not have keys at the bottom of the bezel, try a combination of the power and volume down keys. After clicking, you can check the corresponding gallery folder. If the snapshot was taken successfully, you will see a special animation and hear a click sound to notify you that the snapshot was successful.
Step 4
To take a screenshot, you can also use third-party applications available in the Play Market Android. If you are unable to take a screenshot using standard HTC tools, go to the Play Market program manager using the shortcut on the desktop or in the main menu of the device.
Step 5
Enter the query "Screenshot" in the search bar for applications and select the one you like most from the results. Study the descriptions of the programs, which may tell you how to take a screenshot. Click on the "Install" button and wait for the installation to complete.
Step 6
Launch the program using the shortcut created on the desktop and go to the "Settings" section to set a combination of buttons that will be responsible for creating a screenshot. After making the settings, minimize the application and hold down the specified key combination. All generated screen images will also be placed in the "Gallery" section of the smartphone.
