Many people use Skype to communicate with friends and family. When chatting, the photo or picture you uploaded is visible to your interlocutors in the upper left corner of the dialog box.

Step 1
Sign in to Skype. To do this, click on the program shortcut on the desktop or on the taskbar. In the authorization window, enter your username and password.

In the upper left corner of the window that opens, select the "Skype" menu, click on it with the mouse.

A list of commands will open in front of you. Click on the second line from the top "Personal data".

Another window will open to the right of the selected menu item. Select the first command "Change my avatar".

A window will open in front of you where you can upload any photo from your computer or take a photo using your webcam.

To select a new avatar, click on the "Browse" command, which is located at the bottom of the window. Select the photo or picture you want to set and click the "Open" button. In the avatar selection window, click on the command "use this image", which is located in the lower right part of the window. After that, the desired photo will be installed as your avatar in Skype.
Step 7
If you want to take a photo using your webcam and upload it to Skype, in the window that opens, click "Take a picture" and then the button "Use this image". You can not upload a photo you do not like, but make a new one by selecting the "Try again" command.
