The Windows operating system has a very convenient function to automatically launch programs at startup. Autostart of the necessary programs will save a lot of time and will not allow you to forget to download a particular program. There are several ways to enable autorun.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to form a list of programs intended for automatic loading in the Windows operating system, there is a special folder called "Startup". This folder is standard, it is created during the installation of the system and is located at C: Documents and Settingsusername Main menu Programs Autorun. In order for the program to load automatically, just paste its shortcut into this folder. Removing the shortcut will mean canceling the startup of this program.
Step 2
The automatic launch of some programs can be configured by their own means, and many programs by default turn on the autorun mode at the start of the operating system. In order to forcibly enable the startup of the program, go to its settings. As a rule, the command to start the program together with the operating system is located in the settings tab called "General". You can enable automatic loading of the program by checking the box opposite the corresponding line. Then apply and save your changes.
Step 3
For advanced users. Autostart of a program can be enabled by editing the registry using standard Windows tools. To do this, go to the "Start" menu and click the "Run" button in it. In the text box, write "regedit". The Windows Registry Editor will open. In the registry editor, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun] section and add a key to it with the address of the executable file of the program for which you want to configure autostart. For example, in order for the "Notepad" program to load automatically in this section, you must write the code "NOTEPAD. EXE" = "C: WINDOWSSystem32
otepad.exe.
