After the operating system is installed, you need to install all drivers - utilities that are responsible for the correct functioning of all devices on your computer.
Instructions
Step 1
Drivers can be roughly divided into those that are indispensable in daily work, and those whose installation can be postponed. The former include the drivers for the video adapter, sound card, as well as the network card and wireless network if you use the Internet. The second group includes drivers for a card reader, additional laptop keys, etc.
Step 2
A driver can be either an installation file or a specialized file that can only be opened by a system utility. If the driver is in the form of an installation file, then all you need to do is run it by double clicking on it. If, when you click on it, a window appears in which you are offered to independently select the program with which you should open this file, then you need to go the other way.
Step 3
Go to the "Control Panel" by clicking the "Start" button. In the "Control Panel" select the section "Performance and Maintenance" and click on the item "System". On the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button. A window will open showing all the components of your computer. Yellow question marks will display all devices for which no drivers are installed.
Step 4
Now you need to right-click on each yellow icon, select "Update Driver", and then follow the prompts of the Hardware Update Wizard. At the stage of installing drivers, you will need to specify the folder where the drivers are located. This can be either a local folder on your computer or a CD. The installation wizard will find the required driver in this folder and install it on your computer. For each type of device, select the folder where the corresponding driver is located.
