In order for copies of incoming letters to be saved on the server, in MS Outlook you need to select only one checkbox. However, the user who has come across the program settings for the first time will have a hard time finding the checkbox where this checkbox should be located.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the program, left-click the "Service" item in the main menu, select the "Parameters" sub-item from the drop-down list.
Step 2
In the window that appears, open the "Mail settings" tab. Here, in the Email Accounts section, click the Accounts … button.

The following settings window will appear, where there are two groups of checkboxes. You need the one under the "E-mail" label. Check the box next to the "View or change existing accounts" box and click Next.
Step 4
The next window will open, listing your existing mail accounts. Select the one for which you want to make changes with one click of the left mouse button. Then click the "Change" button to the right of the field with a list of accounts.
Step 5
In the next window that opens with your data and addresses of incoming and outgoing mail servers, find the "Other settings" button and click it.
Step 6
A window will open again in which you need to select the "Advanced" tab. In the "Delivery" section, you will be asked to choose from three options for storing / deleting mail from the server. Check the checkbox next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server" and confirm the changes by clicking OK.
Step 7
The window with additional settings will close, but the window with the name of the account for which you made changes will remain on the screen. If you are no longer going to change any of your e-mail settings at this time, click the Next and Finish buttons in this window. From now on, your changes will take effect, and copies of all messages will be stored on the server.
