Step 1
The whole point of boot disks is that the main control and information console appears only before the main system boots. To do this, the computer needs to access not the hard disk, as it is set by default, but the disk drive. To do this, you will have to change the BIOS settings.
Step 2
We reboot the computer. Once it has done a restart, press a specific key. It can be different for different computers. Basically, the keys "Delete", "F2", "F10" are used. This will open the BIOS menu.
Step 3
In this menu, you must find the item "BOOT" or "ATAPI". By selecting it, you will see several sub-items. Choose the sub-item "FIRST". By default, there will be "HARD". You need to select "CD-ROM" (DVD-ROM). Thus, you set the boot priority not for the hard disk, but for the drive. Press "F10" to save and exit.
Step 4
The computer will restart. Now you will see that the disk drive is being accessed. This will open the boot disk menu. Select the appropriate menu item. Once you are done with the boot disk, it is recommended that you disable the option to boot from the floppy drive. Otherwise, the computer will start to boot slowly, as the disk will be checked and possibly started.
