Many people remember Dandy's game console with its quirky games like Super Mario, Tanchiki or Islander. For those who want to plunge into childhood, modern game consoles are equipped with special programs for adapting games of the old generation - emulators. The inexpensive Func Spider-01 prefix has the largest selection of emulators. However, many games will have to be downloaded manually. You can replenish your collection of games with old copies by following simple tips.
Where to get games
Emulator games generally don't take up much space. You can download them on different sites (emuplanet, sdgames and others) for free. The main thing is to know in which directory to put the file with the game.
Func Spider-01 has 6 emulators installed by default: GBA, NES, PS, MAME, MD and N64 (Nintendo). For games that were once popular on Dandy's console, the NES emulator is intended.
How to download games
There are three ways to download the game to the console:
1. Using a USB wire. Go to any site that provides free games for emulators and download the game to your computer. The game folder will be placed in the Downloads folder.
Connect the set-top box to your computer using a usb wire. The synchronization process will be displayed on the STB screen. Click "yes" to allow the connection.
Go to the Downloads folder on your computer. The game folder itself is not needed, open it and copy the file. Depending on the selected category of games, the file will have the endings nes, gba, etc. (by the name of the emulator for which you downloaded the game). Paste the game file into the desired directory on the console: Rooms folder, then nesrooms - rooms. For Nintendo, the folder will be n64rooms - rooms, etc.
2. Using a mini CD card. Transfer the file from the computer to the storage card, and from the card to the desired folder on the set-top box.
3. Via Wi-Fi. Connect wi-fi on the console, go to the site and download the file with the game you like. Check if the game is working: go to the "Downloads" folder and click on the file with the game. The prefix will offer to choose which emulator to launch the game with. Select the desired emulator and play for 3 minutes. Then exit the emulator and transfer the game file from the Download folder to the rooms - nesrooms folder (or a suitable folder) - rooms.
With the right actions, the game icon should appear in the menu of the selected emulator. If it doesn't, check the file location is correct.
