Step 1
First you need to choose a background for your future collage. It should contrast with the photographs that will be placed against this background, so as not to merge with them. The background should not overshadow the photographs and distract attention from them. But you can't be completely invisible either. The background must necessarily emphasize the collage itself and even create a certain entourage. The size of the background file must be large enough for the finished collage to be printed in large format.
Step 2
Open the background and photos in Adobe Photoshop. Each photo will be opened in a separate tab. Drag each photo to the background tab using the Move tool. All images will be automatically positioned each on its own layer. Most likely, the photos will have to be scaled down because they will be too large. But keep in mind that if you make the photos too small, the collage will be damaged and you will not be able to print it. It is best to use the warp tool to reduce images. Remember to hold down the Shift key while resizing to maintain proportions. When you get the size you want, press the Enter key. Each photo will have to be scaled down separately, which will allow you to create a collage of images of different sizes and more compactly and accurately position photos in the background.
Step 3
When you are clear with all the layers, place the thumbnails in the background as you see fit. And using the "warp" tool, you can change not only the size, but also the angle of the photo. You can play with the size, angle, and location of the shots. You can make a staircase out of them, make a comic, just place them beautifully … Try and look for what you like. It is not difficult to make one of many photos, but the result will be pleasant and interesting.
