The objects in the photo can have different shapes: a human silhouette, a rectangular cabinet, a bubble cloud. But you never know what else. And depending on that, you may need different Adobe Photoshop tools if you want to remove this object.

Russified version of Adobe Photoshop CS5

Instructions

Step 1

Launch Adobe Photoshop and open the required image in it: click the "File"> "Open" menu item (or use a simpler and faster way - hotkeys Ctrl + O), select the desired file and click "Save". Double-click the left mouse button on the background in the list of layers and immediately click "OK" in the window that appears. The background will turn into a full layer.

Step 2

If the object has a regular rectangular shape, select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (hotkey M, switch between adjacent elements Shift + M) and use it to circle the unnecessary place. A selection area will appear, the borders of which will take the form of "walking ants". Next, a step will follow, which will be the final one for all the options described below: press Delete on the keyboard to delete the selected area.

Step 3

If the object is ellipsoidal, select the Oval Marquee Tool (M, Shift + M) and select the object in the same way.

Step 4

Use the Lasso Tool (L, Shift + L) to remove arbitrary area in the image. The way to apply it is similar to the Brush, except instead of painting, you create a selection area.

Step 5

If the object has straight, straight lines, use the Rectangular Lasso tool. Select it (L, Shift + L), then move point by point from one corner of the object to another and close the path at the end.

Step 6

Use the Magnetic Lasso (L, Shift + L) to select complex objects. This tool is unique in that, when selected, the path itself is glued to the boundaries of the object. However, in cases where the background and object colors are the same, Magnetic Lasso will fail.

Step 7

To save the result, click Ctrl + Shift + S, select the path for the file, specify its type (Jpeg - if you need the final picture, Psd - if you plan to return to work with the project) and click “Save”.
